The Wonderbolts (Patreon)

Hello everyone,

it was about time for an epic new illustration that I definitely wanted to push through within the last remaining days of this year, and I did it! Have an image that I had in mind for about 1 1/2 years or so and finally pulled off - The Wonderbolts, a poster design showing this extravagant and talented group of flyers.

I wanted to portray Spitfire in a better light this time, not making her drunk/tipsy but show the strong personality and competent leader that she is. She's the right pony to do the job as Captain of the Wonderbolts as the others soar through the sky into the dark clouds out there!

It was a challenging image to draw, especially with the clouds and strong colourful contrast between yellows/oranges and purples, but I enjoyed the process of it and think it turned out good! Please feel free to let me know what you think of this image and who's your favourite Wonderbolt and why^^
