Broken Bite (Patreon)

Hey everyone,

I had this sketch in my sketchbooks for almost 2 months now and I think it's finally time to finish it, so here we have a new traditional illustration of one of my Horned Dog Characters. Meet Rovax, the Doberman. 

Things often aren't the way they seem and it's the same with Rovax - He is a leader, a fighter and survivor who looks terrifying and cruel yet has a soft heart. He has gone through a lot but often only to protect the ones that are dear to him. With his menacing look and sharp teeth however, he is feared among the dogs he crosses on his ways and it might break him from inside. This is certainly a dog to only bark but not bite anymore, he learned his lessons and has better intentions than outsiders would say he does. 

This piece was heavily inspired by the song "Teeth" by Aviators - which is actually a Beastars inspired fansong and yet made me feel super inspired to draw this scene of him eating and breaking a bone. I just love drawing canines.
