Lupi's Summary of Art 2020 (Patreon)

Hello everyone,

this year was terrifying and frustrating for many of us, in a negative way it was something special. However, let's hope 2021 will be much brighter and less stressful but ratther brings back the joy and dreams this year took away from us.

In hindsight, this year was difficult for me as well but it also brought some major changes to my art and my development. In short, I was able to publish my first two very own books, I was hired for a bigger client's project to illustrate characters, backgrounds and many more items for a new brand of products, I started streaming on Twitch as often as possible and I got to try out many new things throughout the year with new equipment. In regards to my art, I am so grateful and happy with how this year has gone - and mostly I think I have you guys to thank for it since all your support, your kind words, comments, shares, likes, all of this just made me stand up again whenever I felt down and like there was no tomorrow. You and my beloved Snoopy are my biggest inspirations for my career. Just... a HUGE Thank you to all of you, it means the world to me. <3

To keep it short, these are my favourite pieces of this year's badge of digital drawings. Again, I had a lot of digital and traditional artwork that I could have showcased here, but these are what I'd call the finalists. The summer months were rather busy for me with the client's project I mentioned earlier really putting a lot of time pressure on me, however, luckily I still got to show you the outcome of that and still managed to finish a piece or two still. November was the month with the most artworks that I felt proud of. Seriously, it was hard to chose the finalist for this year's summary of Art, but I think it's only fair to chose this follow-up to my all time favourite illustration of Ori and The Blind Forest I finished a couple of years ago.
