Horse Lines (Patreon)

Hello everybody,

I dunno about you artists out there, but sometimes I plan on doing something and then ending up with something completely different. This happened here because as you can see, it looks totally different from my normal work. Let me explain why.

I always loved horses, they are among my favourite animals and I always drew them ever since I was a little child^^ Therefore I thought, I never really painted/drew a rather detailed and realistic horse, I always tried but ended up with something silly looking, whether it'd be the proportions being off or the shading not correctly. Then at school, I suddenly felt the urge to draw a jumping horse and shade it realistically...until I saw C3rmenDraws' ( https://twitter.com/c3rmenDraws ) Artwork and thought "Hey, why not just play around with lines, instead?" since they often "doodle" animals only with lines and make them look rather interesting^^ Then I decided to just play around with that, not flat areas and filled in spaces, just lines and this is the result with a ballpoint pen. Nothing too spectacular, just a little experiment that turned out alright-ish if you ask me. Still could use some improvement when it comes to that, but oh well.
