This has all the LED fittings also, so if you want to add the blue and yellow leds there is space to do so (and a hollow core to fit batteries or a slide out internal. I have not seen the inside of this saber so I only did the external model. All parts have their own plugs and joining ability, if they don't they are a flush fit part that will require a dab of glue but be self aligned.
Please see assembly pic for instructions, there is few pieces but all of them are reasonably easy to print with respect to the top sculpted shroud near the blade emitter.. no easy way to plate that one due to the curve.
(assembly guide is inside the .zip file)
I've had the biggest print job of my life ever this past 2 weeks, it literally was one of those jobs that you have to take to literally keep your business alive... and its an ongoing contract (of easy to print items.. that require no supports, extras etc) but long story short, I had to get my much neglected machines back up and running properly, get some new machines running... and now i'm back to normal.
I had neglected my printers for some time... i've been working 24/7 for the past 2 weeks literally fixing machines, running prints, changing prints... we went through 22kg of filament just this last week, thats how much printing we did :)
Anyway, sorry for that delay, the job just took me by surprise but as I said, was not something I could knock back. The 3D printing business is very cut throat :( i've noticed a decline not only as people are getting their own printers, but everyones got an Etsy store now, all selling the same prints so unless you have something really unique, it just becomes a price war on plastic.
More posts coming today people, ill also get back to the many messages I have also neglected!
