Level 1 Update:
Hero Chess is coming along well, and your Diorama suggestions are also giving me a tonne of new ideas, thank you!
Level 2 Update:
I'm going to be uploading some more obscure helmets for you guys in the coming days. Besides the Samurai Trooper Helmet there will be some more that you don't usually see. There are a lot of talented modellers out there now but they all seem to be making the same helmets, me included especially if you don't follow them religiously to see what they have released.. often there ends up being 10 variants of the same helmet all on thingiverse or similar.. so yeah, I am trying to make some that you just are not going to find anywhere, not on cg trader, not on turbosquid, do3d etc..
Props! Yes more props coming for Level 2!
I figured if you wanted helmets and only helmets you would have signed up for level 3, don't worry.. Props are still one of my main passions and after some mind blowing input from many of you I have some great models coming that (thanks to you guys) I know you want, lots of blasters, swords, you name it. From Star Wars, Star Trek, LOTR... its coming!
Level 3 Update:
Instead of drip feeding you pieces of a suit each week I am going to focus on releasing entire costumes at a time. I thought originally splitting the pieces up into weeks would give me more time, but in the end it just was another thing I had to keep going back to all month and its easier to organize things when it's all done in one go, so moving forward it will be complete sets, my goal is to put one out every 2 weeks, we'll see how that goes.
I have been working very hard on a a Gypsy Danger cosplay which is starting to take shape, there is a new Batman Arkham entire suit also coming (I was doing a Batgirl for a friend and thought gee, I might as well do Batman while i'm at it...) I went with the Arkham suit because there is more detailing on it that can be printed as opposed to a fabric based suit.
There are also a few Star Wars suits i'm working on, one of which is a full Gammorean Guard costume. Obviously finishing Darth's helmet(s) off take priority as I want to get those cleared off my plate!
VIDEOS SOON!
Yes, as promised some time ago some tutorial videos coming! The poll swayed more toward the learning Blender/modelling side which is what will be the focus, but there will also be a painting video (I only really think I need to make one or two of those) where as the modelling thing really could go on for some time.
