May 4th Bonus model! (Patreon)

Yes, I know it's not May yet, but I thought I would get a model out early to say thanks to all of my Patreon supporters. It has probably been close to a year now on Patreon and while initially the content was a bit thin as time goes on and we grow I get more and more time to work on models for this place. We are currently at 125 supporters which is just mind boggling really, some of you I know through facebook or other places but to the ones I don't, thank you for finding me!

Level 2 Access has some serious models coming soon, as does Level 3 also. I am getting these smaller models out of the way so I can focus on finishing the armor sets I had planned. They really do take a lot of time, especially cutting them all up to different sizes for people, repairing... re-plating... creating instructions... I can't wait for the day we all have giant printers and can print anything in one go.. 

Re: Palpatine, I have printed this already but am still painting it. My printer had some issues during the print too so it's not very clean, I might reprint.  

I have supplied 2 versions, a 3 part and a single print. I printed the 3 part version to reduce supports (a lot of supports...) so they all slot neatly together at the end, no pins required and just a couple of dashes of glue, but all oriented for the least support (only the main one requires it and will put some between the head and chair, but easily removed)

Literally almost done with all this armor (and to be honest really tired of this one...)  Everytime I was reviewing reference photos there was something small I had missed or didn't look right and also had some issues with shins as per usual, thickness is always an issue, but after a lot of feedback I am reducing the thickness of pretty much all armor pieces by about 2mm, so all pieces will be 3.5mm thick uniformly. 3mm it seems was a bit too thin for people and 4-4.5mm was too thick, so 3.5 seems to be the meeting point.

It's school holidays here at the moment and I'm going away for a couple of days, but will still be on my laptop (visiting in-laws... ) but will still be getting some modelling done as the weather is looking pretty grim so will most likely be indoors, might as well get something done!
