Patreon 2020 (Patreon)
Content
It's that time of year again! First, I want to thank all the patrons who have accompanied me over the years, and also the new ones that help me grow as an artist.
Second, as I do at the end of each calendar year, I pledge to improve the content of my Patreon - for all of you that have decided to support me and allow me to continue to create. For this I will answer some frequent questions that I receive.
Questions:
*Why don't you make huge and detailed girls more frequently?
As an artist I chose quality over quantity, and that implies many hours of work. Even the simplest drawing I can do takes me about 4 hours, and making a huge girl can take me about 20 - 25 hours.
*What happened to the comic "Muscle Stories"?
Unfortunately with the problem I had with my computer I lost 8 of the 10 pages I had drawn, so I will resume that from next year. Consider this a lesson learned in the area of proper date management.
* Will I do explicit nsfw content?
(Naked girls in suggestive poses) This a common question I am asked, and I have generally stayed away from more explicit content due to concerns with how Patreon worked and possibly censored artists. However, the more I have learned how Pateron works, the more willing I am to do more explicit content.
* What is your opinion on cosplay?
That is to say, I have had questions regarding drawings inspired by popular characters, such as She Hulk, Samus Aran, Laura Croft, etc. Originally I decided against doing this sort of content out of fear of copyright infringement. As I navigate the nuances of international copyright laws (the more difficult they become) you will likely start seeing more options available for popular characters to be portrayed through my art.
Continuing on that theme, I would like to propose an idea of my own. This would be a big step in content development, especially as part of an "extended universe" of stories:
The days I spent without a computer reminded me that before I had access to advanced digital drawing software and hardware, I would do everything by hand. While the aid of computers has allowed me to produce high quality art in a shorter amount of time, I do sometimes miss the simplicity and charm of a hand-drawn style. That being said, I do have several stories of muscular girls that I have not drawn due to lack of time. I would like to propose the idea of doing a supplemental series of comics using a simple cartoony style of drawing more akin to sketching and newspaper comic. These would be included with at no extra cost with stories chosen by patrons. If there is enough interest I may even be able to recreate select stories at the quality you have come to expect. Though a final, detailed version would be an end of the year project. I would like to ask one more question:
*What are some areas that you, the patrons, would like to see explored?
Some have suggested body comparisons and strength tests, and I honestly like the idea. Share your thoughts below!
Thank you, again, for all the support through 2019! Here's to another year! Cheers!
