The Canis Forge in the Diesel-Age (Patreon)

The Canis-Forge was once a fearsome militant group, made up of heavy/light mechanized infantry units that were used mainly for ground and naval warfare: Some time in the Diesel-era, an uneasy pact was formed between nations to pool resources and integrate a select few of their military branches in a short-form armistice against larger/more devastating threats like rogue-mechanized emergent AI.(I.e. Lycan-Forge, etc.).

The Canis-Forge were prime candidates as they served as intimidating, yet loyal watchdogs for humanity, (Most of which, like various other new-age robots, were given modifications for human-senses/engrams/experiences to encourage camaraderie between units, and a sympathetic view towards organic-life in general).

Beyond that, there is a lot that is kept confidential about their build, functions, and other variations which had been experimented with.

-Post-war, Canis Forge became a rarer-sight. It is assumed that the ones that exited service integrated into civilian-life after earning their 'personhood' status.
