On August 17th Ash and I will be flying to Santa Fe.

On August 18th we will be interviewing George RR Martin and then watching episode 1 of House of the Dragon at his theater Jean-Cocteau cinema immediately after!

He has seen the ep already but not the full final cut with CGI and music. He wasn't able to attend the live premiere in LA because he got covid (which he is over now). So we'll be experiencing the full first watch in the same room with the man himself.

Yesterday, to prepare for the interview, GRRM asked for a recent episode to listen to. We sent them the Dragonstone ep since it had some San Diego Comic Con banter at the start and delves into show/book stuff from a lot of angles. I am NERVOUS, ha!
