Cat o'Vivas

I had really been looking foreward to the Dragonstone episode! You did a great job there!

Cat o'Vivas

You talking about Daenys the Dreamer and her book gave me an idea concerning the mysterious letter Aegon the Conqueror received from Prince Nymor of Dorne, the one making him abandon the conquest of Dorne. I really don't buy the thing that Rhaenys was still alive and they threatened to torture her/promised to put her out of her misery if Aegon made peace. In this case Aegon would have spent the rest of his life avenging her as soon ad he knew she was dead / finding a way to get her back if he believed her alive, if not by war then by diplomacy, and there is not a single hint that he did anything like that. So what if Nymor threatened him with Rhoynish magic - some hammer-of-the-water-scenario or greyscale? And that it shocked Aegon so much because he had read something like that in Daenys' book? It is said that Aegon flew at once to Dragonstone after he had read the letter. It might have been because he wanted to re-read Daenys' prophecies. And if there was written something like 'one of us will be a great conqueror with three dragons, but then a terrible curse will be brought down on him', Aegon would have thought the prophecy was talking about him and the current situation. But in reality Daenys might have been talking about Daenerys instead. In this case the fulfilment of the prophecy could be something we are still going to see in ASOIAF. I'm so looking forward to all of this!
