History of Westeros meets the Mythical Astronomy of Ice and Fire podcast in a beast of an episode. A number of epic topics are included: Azor Ahai, the Long Night, Strange Stone, the Amethyst Empress and Bloodstone Emperor, Sarnor, Yi Ti, the unusual looks found in the Hightower and Dayne families, and so much more!

NOTE: due to the joint nature of this episode, we are foregoing the usual VIP early release period. We felt it unfair to give the HoW patrons early access without also doing so for the Mythical Astronomy patrons, as I'm sure you'd agree! There will be an early release period as per normal in our next episode.  Since there's no early release period, if you are an audio-only patron, the episode will be part of your normal feed, so check your podcast app!

If the first long night was caused by the destruction of the second planet’s second moon, which probably kicked up much debris into the atmosphere, and created a nuclear winter, and a second was caused by the Doom of Valyria, what do you suppose will be the cause of the new winter being another long one? We’ve been fed legend of the destruction of the second moon, and the Doom of Valyria, but have we been given clues to another tragedy, which we’ve all missed? At the beginning of the story there was the red comet, but that left, or did it.

My son and I would like to be involved in the Tucson-con. Tickets have been sold out forever and I don't see an opportunity popping up on a reputable site to purchase tickets. Sell me you extra tickets😍 it would be great to interface with you all from Atlanta.

History of Westeros

Oh no! We don't have any extra tickets, though... only the two for us. We are helping sell tickets for Ice and Fire con and Con of Thrones, but not Tuscon.
