Archmaester Renny

I think Arya’s story foreshadows Lyanna being the Knight of the Laughing Tree. When the stableboy comes after Arya, he calls her “wolf girl.” When Meera Reed tells Bran the story of the Tourney at Harrenhall, she calls Lyanna the “she-wolf.” Arya fights the stableboy off with her sword; Lyanna fights off the squires attacking the cranogman with a tourney sword. Lyanna’s immediate results are less lethal, but the long-term results are far bloodier. In later chapters, The Hound calls Arya “wolf girl,” as well. These nicknames, “wolf girl” and “she-wolf” are one more example of the parallels drawn between Arya and Lyanna that help us understand more about who Lyanna really was.

Lady K'lara

This is my first re-read and I've been wondering about Dany's attitude to slavery this early on (since later this becomes one of her defining characteristics). She seems to accept slavery as a fact and routinely accepts or even comes to expect being served by them (bathing her, raising her tent, even small things such as handing the reins of her horse over to them. I have not spotted a single remark in her POV chapters so far that this would bother her, or even make her question the institution. Is this because of Viserys' influence, the cultural heritage of Valyria, the fact that her husband is a slaver, or simply because she's still so young and learning? But then, wouldn't her time spent in Braavos inspire her otherwise?
