Old Nan says, “My stories, no. My little lord, not mine. The stories are, before me and after me. And before you, too” (audiobook version so the wording is probably bad.) Is it too “rabbit hole” to think the this is a hint to Stories being an important part of becoming the 3-eyed raven? In the show, he is chosen to become king because of his stories. Old Nan says it was before him too but doesn’t mention stories happening after him. Is that a nod to him becoming the 3ER?

Also, did we get the actual Winterfell name origin from Old Nan in the Bran chapter? She says, “ Thousands and thousands of years ago, a WINTER FELL that was cold and hard and endless beyond all memory of man.”
