I wanted Jaime to be going to kill Cersei, if not that... going to help her but end up deciding to kill her instead, if not that... die on the way and his face taken... I hope that in the books the prophecy plays out exactly as stated, with some younger sibling (who is male or wearing a male face) wrapping two good hands around her neck. For the hand chain to count as Jaime’s hands he would have to both be appointed and accept the post of hand, which I don’t see happening - do other people think that will happen in the books? In the show, I really wanted Arya to kill Cercei - that was at the top of the list of reasons why I was disappointed when she killed the night king (I assumed they wouldn’t have one person kill both)

Your show vs book Qyburn discussion made me curious, so I asked my own unsullied (who’s more unsullied than your unsullied - sometimes I tell him stuff from the books but I don’t think he listens) what he thought of Qyburn. Once I’d said enough for him recognize which character I was talking about, he said “you mean that sleazy guy?” So he hadn’t picked up his name but had picked up on the fact that he did experiments on the sick without their permission, just from casually watching the show. (Of course, as a book listener, I would never use a word as mild as ‘sleazy’ to describe Qyburn.)
