Updates Post! (Patreon)

- Thanks for helping us reach our $3250 milestone! Monthly Saturday streams will begin after the season... because during the season we're doing them *weekly* (more on Season 8 below)

- Game Streams are suspended until week 5 of GoT season at the earliest. The combination of GOT season being so hectic for us (plus one of the streams would fall during IaFCon) and the fact that CKII is about to drop a new version, which will necessitate an update to the mod, is a bit of a mess!

- The 2 hours I would be game-streaming tonight will instead be spent finishing up episode 1 of our Dance collab with Radio Westeros. We're trying to get it out before Season 8 begins! Recording is probable for Sunday or Monday.

- Ashaya and I wrote a chapter for a book project (The Thrones Effect) that involves several other creators in the fandom. It should be out before the TV season, so very soon! We recorded the audiobook version of our chapter this week, and I'm in charge of editing everyone's chapters so they are uniform format-wise.

- A (good) shocking discovery was made. There was a minor miscommunication with Joe Buckley and it turns out we've been sitting on a ~75% completed Blackwood episode for quite a while. Maybe that's a major miscommunication, ha. So we are likely to finish this episode on the side on top of the episode voting results, since it's so far along. It won't be out before the TV season, but there's a good chance we can get it out soon after.

- $12+ patron episode voting is closing soon. I'll send out a reminder to those who have a vote that have not voted.

- If you didn't see the news, our Sea Snake livestream was the victim of an internet outage. We had planned to cease the Tuesday livestreams until at least after the TV season, but we're not skipping the Sea Snake!

- Speaking of HBO... like last year, our coverage of season 8 will be:
Monday, show only review.
Wednesday, review for book readers.
Saturday, predictions for next episode, inc. trailer analysis.

With that in mind, we will have our pre-episode 1 stream on Saturday April 13th (likely 2 PM EST, also like last year)

Given how much we have going on, I may have forgotten something. Please give us your thoughts/comments/ideas and let me know if I've missed anything.
