11pm on new years day. I apologise in advance for the drunken superchat! But seriously want to ask. Do you think the Shivers is a supernatural disease?

History of Westeros

Since it's possible we run short of time for a full discussion on the Shivers, for now I will say... yes. The way it is written I believe we're supposed to suspect it strongly if not fully believe it.

I agree, we will probably discuss them separately at first, then compare them. Especially Winter Fever and the Shivers since they specifically come in winter (and because "Winter Fever" is such heavy ice/fire symbolism)
