Hi, thanks for another great discussion! I have a very, very general 'prediction' question. With all of the focus having been on drama between the human characters, who will get the Iron Throne, who is who's father etc, do you feel that there is adequate time left in the show to explain exactly what the Others are and what they are doing? They seem to have been kept a complete mystery until very late in the story.

I don't see Gendry dying. I know anything is possible, but I just don't see it. The other characters who came back just to be killed off immediately have no other role to fulfill in the story. Gendry does. If he survives, I can see Dany or Jon legitimizing him and granting him the lordship of Storm's End so he can rebuild the House of Baratheon. It goes with the theme they've been pressing that children aren't responsible for the sins of their fathers. I think it would be a great sign of hope at the end of the series that at least some of the Great Houses will continue on, even if some rebuilding needs to be done.
