The call for reader cameos (Patreon)

HEY GUESS WHAT we're doing these again! I've got a scene coming up that needs to be populated, and I had a lot of fun including reader cameos last time, so I'mma do this again. If you'd like to be included, please read the following and drop your references in the link below!

I'm looking for: Ordinary townsfolk

• Race: Human, elf
  • Furry/anthro (esp.  reptilian) is OK but they're a tiny minority so I can only take 1 or 2 of these
    • Tieflings and other "exotic" races are fine too but again, they're VERY rare
• No gnomes or dwarves, please
• I may change their outfits to better fit the aesthetic.
• The styles I'm aiming for range from fantasy to industrial
• Please bear in mind that the comic is in greyscale, so if the main defining feature of your character is something color-centric, like bright cyan hair, it won't read.
• Similarly, most of these will be long-range models, so if the main defining feature of your character is a tiny trinket like "a silver locket engraved with an eagle and a picture of their mother inside," it won't read.
• A word or two about their personality will help me figure out how they could fit in the scene. Make sure it's something simple that I'd be able to show outwardly in a single image though, like "confident." Something more complex like "distrustful, especially toward left-handed people due to an unfortunate traumatic event from their childhood" is, uh, not something I can fit in a background cameo.
• No text-only descriptions, please. If you don't have a visual reference of your character but would still like to be included, you can build your character in Heroforge and send me a screenshot. It's free, you don't need an account to do so, and it's all browser-based and very accessible. (Plus it's fun!)

Just to cover my bases, these are the things I need to tell you if you want a cameo in Tales from Alderwood:

• This is NOT a first-come first-serve sort of thing, so take your time to read this disclaimer and make sure you understand the stuff I'm laying down here. That said:
  • My supporters on Patreon will be prioritized.
    • However, if the submissions I get on Patreon aren't usable due to any of the terms listed below, I likely won't use them. In other words, being a patron is not a guarantee that your cameo will get in; it just means you're at the top of my list.
  • While I'd love to get some diversity and unique cameos to liven up my scenes, I'd like to have some semblance of visual unity. Please make sure the designs you submit would fit in the scene(s) described.
    • i.e. no tentacle monsters if I'm looking for "rustic human villagers," please.
• I do intend to get this comic published/printed/sold at some point.
  • If you submit a cameo design, you must be okay with this.
  • If I've included a cameo of your character(s) in the past and you are now not okay with this, please let me know and I can edit them out.
• I am not asking you to design characters for me; I am giving you the opportunity to throw your existing designs my way if you want to see them in the background of my comic. Please don't go out of your way to design characters specifically for this purpose lol.
• Please only submit character designs/likenesses that you have the rights to. If you want your friends or their characters to be included, I encourage you to ask them to submit a potential cameo themselves.
• Please don't DM me your designs; it's much easier for me to keep track of things if they're all kept in one place <3
