I'm going to be focusing solely on new episodes of Dexter and some movies for a little bit. The Last of Us is keeping me very busy on YT cuz HBO blocks my reactions over and over. Once I get caught up I am going to check out a couple of shows you guys have recommended in the past to see what we will watch next. I'm also going to try to finish editing Black Bird for YT.

Feel free to add suggestions below. If I start a show and really don't like it, I'll drop it like I did Hannibal. Really, who wants to watch someone NOT enjoy one of their favorite shows? There are many things I can fake in life, but not episode after episode of something I am not enjoying. I think you guys can understand that. You see how much fun I have watching and discussing shows I really like on here.

Thanks!!! I love you guys!!

If i can make a suggestion it would be reacting to Rome or spartacus , insanely good shows but it's violent and a lot (loooooot) of sex in spartacus

Makes sense, and that stinks about continued issues with HBO. The show that comes to mind that I'd add for consideration is Black Sails

Good recommendations. I have recommended Spartacus to Bobbi before... I think that it was much less pretentious than Hannibal and she would enjoy it.

Totally understood about Hannibal. I know that you are a fan of the Thomas Harris novels, but the series was trying very hard to do its own thing.

To my previous recommendations of Spartacus, Carnivale and Monster, I would also add Penny Dreadful, Snowpiercer, and Black Sails. I am still getting a feel for Bobbi's tastes but these run the gamut, hopefully she will enjoy one of them. Also, I wonder if Bobbi has seen Gone Girl yet ...? 🤔 If not, it might be worth moving up a tier to request a reaction to it.

Hmmmmm I'm not sure how you feel about theological science fiction - but His Dark Materials on HBO (I know... another HBO show) has wrapped after 3 seasons (not because it was canceled...but because there were 3 books and the story was over...). I very much enjoyed it and the cast is fantastic. Dafne Keen (if you saw Logan, she was Laura), Ruth Wilson, Lin Manuel Miranda, James McAvoy... Something to check out if you're looking for something new? Edit: oh yeah! Bella Ramsey also has a small role in season 2.

•You is very reminiscent of Dexter, so you might enjoy that one. I wasn’t too big on the 2nd season (at first) and it took me half the 3rd season to get into that installment, but that first season is gold. •True Detective is an excellent 8-episode series. There are several seasons but each self-contained. So, you get a completed storyline at the close of each season. •Dead To Me is a quirky, comical drama starring Christina Applegate. I found it charming and fun. I haven’t seen the final season yet, but it’s in my queue for when I get the time. •Squid Game is an acquired taste, but I found it to be very engrossing and surprisingly good.

I’ve heard tons of good things about Spartacus. I’m think I’m going to have to finally check that one out.

Raised by Wolves was another theological science fiction show with an interesting premise. Unfortunately, it was also canceled.

I enjoyed the first season, but I've yet to watch the 2nd (I'm saving it) I hadn't heard it was canceled, that's a bummer...

Stoked for whatever! I’ll throw Yellowjackets out there again, I think you’ll vibe with the spooky mystery and dark humour - plus season two comes out later this month!

I've seen You and Dead to Me. Squid Game was never high on my list even though I know it was super popular. I'll put it on my list to peek at along with True Detective.
