In the meantime, we learn that as part of her tendency of hopping dimensions, Kayda transtorms into whatever the dominant species of the current world she's in is. Going through a portal to Vespi's world, she's turned into a Pixie, which to us is a kind of Wasp-human hybrid. This means a smaller head, more unique eyes and a..... large thorax.

Really, it's poor biology done on purpose. That part of anatomy on a wasp is called an abdomen, but that's much too mundane so we have to call it a thorax. Kayla has a big THORAX.
