Heheh... Yeah, of course Peni couldn't get Mysterio taken out without getting regressed herself. Fortunately she's able to easily get around it to take out the bad guy.

Not as many weird dumb Marvel references here but...

-Mysterio mentioning he plans to make some "Humiliating baby pictures" of Peni as his "Next Project" means this one has his 616-Backstory of having been in showbiz before turning to villainy.
-When Peni is using her psychic connection to her spider, the lines around her head are the classic Spidey-Sense feelers.
-Peni mentions seeing Dr. Richards about potentially getting this fixed. She's clearly talking about her universe's Reed Richards.... Who's probably something more like a heroic version of Ikari Gendo. ...... Wow. Between the beard and the distant relationship to his lonely and awesome son It'd be EXACTLY like that, honestly.
