Let's address the elephant in the room - this stuff turns me on more than naked babes and dudes, a'ight? Monster design is way too fun for me.
I've been cooking this one for more than a year or so. And I'm pretty happy on how it has turned out

First drafts

As with everything in life, first attempt is... well...
Ugh...

...Not good. Just like the oldest of siblings. He's a little chunky in some areas.

There are some stuff that's interesting, but not that interesting. As with most of my stuff, it's somewhat reworked designs I already had, such as this one:

I mean, it's there somewhere. The variation of halo, at least. Also, looks metal as fuck.

Rework

I was planning to make this character talk and be somewhat comedic and more... direct. Friendly chtonic beast. Yeah. I know. It's not really intimidating. So I scrapped that. You can  see that vibe in some early concepts:

There are too much emotions. She looks more like a drag queen than a chtonic beast.
At this point in time I more or less figured out the main shapes and themes in her lower body:

Then this happened:

And this looked way more intimidating than previous "Friendly E.T. lady" aesthetic.
It's a godlike being from a different... dimension... or universe, or whatever it is. Why the hell should it look pretty? It should look emotionless, alien and uncanny.

This lead to the final version of her looking more abstract and detached.

Final look

Finally, after all changes, this is the final version of the creature:

The face is more disfigured and deformed, her organs and body parts are not quite right, she's all twisting and bending in wrong places, she has holes where they should not be, and they are not the type of holes they should be. Facial patterns are everywhere, sometimes in vertical, sometimes in horizontal dimensions. Her shoulders are pelvis shaped, her arms are made out of leg bones. Her "hair" has mouths and eyes.

And she has 3 jaws that open up like a flower. And she comes from a flower... and there were flowers on the entrance...

Her arms changed drastically. If you ever boiled beef bones - you probably know how they look after cooking. In my family there is a habit of leaving meat bones in the soup to the very end, so the meat and other tissues get soaked in bouillon. After the procedure they look like this:

It's really tasty, by the way, especially in Borsh. But the sight may be disturbing to some.

There are also some obvious religious symbolism, variations on halo and nymbus, her pose resemble mummies, birth of venus, martyrs and something... fetal?

Though the name is based on the Lovecraftian mythos, it doesn't really have much to do with the actual being in his books. Though the overall motif is somewhat similar:

"He is horrible—horrible beyond anything you can imagine—but wonderful."

Yeah, that fits...

Her lower body is just trypophobic extravaganza:

She has a mushroom-like collar in the middle. Yuck.
And baby hands. Fat baby hands. Skinny baby hands.

Little
tiny
chubby
toddler
baby hands.

Her top part also looks like those stretches on the skin after prengancy or when you grow really fast in your childhood.

Brace yourselves.

I hope you have a plastic bag somewhere near:

Have a nice dinner, you guys...

Also, the overall theme somewhat resemble the Tower of Babel and Hieronimus Bosch paintings:

And of course The Hive Mind from Dead Space. It's probably the first thing that comes to mind:

Art is not about creating

It's about stealing, okay?

Stay cool, ther's gonna be more crazy stuff ahead.
