June update (Patreon)

Hi all!

So, I've been suffering from some bad anxiety lately, and so I've been avoiding interacting with people - I don't think I've replied anywhere for the last few weeks. Not Patreon, not discord, not the blog.

However, work continues Ok. As supporters of Newlife, I know you expect a certain level of project management expertise, and that level is "very bad".

As such, I've decided to add an additional scene to the next release, even though it's midway through development and the scene isn't essential for it at all.

Less jokingly, the main content for the next release will be the "announce pregnancy to your partner when he isn't the father" one. This is a challenging scene because it interacts very heavily with complicated relationship tracking game mechanics which makes it slow and sometimes frustrating to write. On top of that, it'll be of interest to some players but not to others - if you don't cheat on your bf, you'll probably never see it.

As such, I decided to add a 2nd scene as well which is a light, "just for fun" scene based in the office. In this one, a repairman is hired to fix a broken printer and, as the PC stands in front of him to show the problem, she realises he is very well endowed indeed...

Progress on this scene is going well, but it means I'm likely to have a high-pressure end of the month to get everything out in time. Still, it's important to me because it's nice to have a break from figuring out paths through the preg-reveal scene to just write up some simple sexy content.

I've no news on Game2. Development is completely on hold for now while I focus on Newlife. My only task atm is corresponding with a lawyer to sort out some legal documents I'll need to move onto the next stage.
