Relationship Traits Vote (Patreon)

Hi all,

The next step in the relationship updates is to add some more NPC traits focused on relationships - primarily "bad boyfriend" traits. The plan there is to spend 3 releases on these, probably with 1 release per trait. This is a vote to decide which traits to look at.

However, from a previous vote I'm not sure how interested everyone is in these new traits. As such, I'm running this vote a bit differently.

Instead of a simple "pick your favourite", each trait has 2 entries: one for when you do want to see the trait, and a negative one if you don't consider it worth adding and you'd rather see development time spent elsewhere. If you don't care much either way then you can of course leave both blank. You can vote for as many options as you want.

I'll total up the scores for each trait with negative votes sutracted from positive ones and implement the top three. However, traits with negative or zero scores will not be added. If there aren't 3 traits with positive scores then I'll dedicate fewer releases to them and get to the 0.5.0 vote sooner instead.

The content you should expect to see for each winning trait is one release's worth - a couple of events, or fewer if a scene ends up being very large or if extensive updates are required to existing content.

I'll check the results on Thursday 6th. Not long, I know, but until then I'll just be working on bugfixes, minor changes, and my Unity game, so I can't leave the vote running for too long.

The options are:

Cheater: the NPC is likely to cheat on you, and you might catch him with another woman.

Gambling Debts: The NPC is secretly in debt and you might find him trying to borrow or steal money from you. You might even be confronted by his creditors.

Heavy Drinker: The NPC gets drunk a lot and you might find yourself woken up in the night when he stumbles home pissed and horny.

Small Penis: The NPC has a small penis and will be unsatisfying in bed to characters who prefer large ones.

Bad in Bed: The NPC is bad at sex and will have a hard time satisfying most women, especially ones with the hard-to-please trait.

Unemployed: The NPC has no job and will be a drain on your finances. You can intervene to find him work, if you're able to convince his employer.
