The City Between Starts a New Story This Month (Patreon)

Hey all! The Dead Deception is wrapping up online this month. The next story is titled Murky Water and will start posting later this month. My $5 patreon backers get it a month early, so for them it starts updating tomorrow. I'll be posting a page every Wednesday. 

Murky Water follows Maria and Connor from the Dead Deception on a new case. A man has drowned in his living room. Maria is more prepared to solve a S.N.O.W.I case this time. But when the murder weapon is magic, building a case turns out to be harder than finding the culprit.

This month I've been working on a freelance project I don't think I can talk abut just yet, but I'll post about it here once it's announced. Between that freelance project, The City Between, and You are the Chosen One, I'm pretty busy. 

Bones and I are still streaming Crusader Kings 3, though! We are building our little empire slowly but surely. The byzantine empire is getting kinda close for comfort though. We'll probably have to take them over sooner rather than later. 

Spike, Amanda, and I posted to episodes of Dirty Old Ladies. One is on Mary Sues and how they are mostly a device to criticize female characters. The other one we posted is about how Covid has changed our business plans and how we promote stuff. 



Also on the podcasting front, Amanda and I are doing a new podcast called "You haven't seen it?!" Basically, Amanda didn't see a lot of movies growing up and doesn't get many cultural references. So we are watching them together. We have recorded an episode on The Princess Bride and tomorrow are doing one on The Lost Boys. It's not posted yet because we want to make a buffer, but it should launch some time next year. Our list of movies includes stuff like Psycho, Monty Python and the Holy Grail, The Godfather, and Pulp Fiction. It should be fun.
