Sometimes when I am writing a story, I will start writing a chapter and suddenly reach a point where I realise I don't like where it's going. Whenever I do this, I always save the part I delete. For some stories it happens more than others.

The attached is an alternate opening for chapter 14 of the story 'Jack Hamilton'. It is the only alternate/deleted scene for that story, which obviously shows how clear the narrative was in my mind.

Anyway, it's not a particularly sexual scene. Chapter 13 concluded with Jack's confession that the 'accident' that injured Aaron was not actually an accident. This scene involves the other discussing what to do about it. I wish I'd kept notes about context and why I chose to scrap it, but here it is for your viewing pleasure.
