Matterotica Newsletter #1 (Patreon)

Well here I am at the end of week one, with my one loyal patron (hey Zell). It's been one of those weeks that I hate, where work and life just get in the way of writing. I am never one to be discouraged, so I managhed to slip a little bit of time in - after all, do we really NEED sleep??

For now, here's just a quick update about what I've been working on:

Tales from Kingswood

As my big, ongoing project, this will always be top of my list of things I'm working on for probably many years. Chapter 9 will be finalised and then submitted at some point over the weekend.

I've also found myself thinking ahead and planning a lot for it too, which is a biut unusual for me. Most of my stories have very little planning, I just kinda sit down, write and see what happens. For TfK though, these boys are in my hands for the next seven years of their lives, so I owe them at least a little bit of forward planning!!

Phil's Naked Adventures

Oh my God, what's this? We haven't heard of this? What's happening? Yes, these are all good questions. This story came out of nowhere and, most excitingly, it is the return of my interactive stories. For anyone who knew me back in the days of my tumblr page, or who may have read 'Jakes's Exposure' and 'Brian's Big Mistake',you will know how this works, but for everyone else, here's a brief introduction.

I write a part of the story, then conclude it with a list of options. Readers can then cast their votes by emailing me (or messaging me on here) to say which option they feel should happen next. The option with the most votes gets written into the next part. What we end up with is a story controlled by my readers, that you can all feel like you contributed to. 

Part 1 will be posted shortly and voting will remain open for approximately one week before I write part 2.

Possession

It feels kinda wrong to list this under 'what I've been doing' as I haven't actually done anything with it except read it (yes, my memory is so bad I have to read my own stories to remember what happened in them). To be fair, the most recent part was written five years ago!

I'm listing it here because it's a story I have always intended to return to, partly because I love the characters/concept, but also because so many readers just keep on asking about it! I can't guarantee new chapters will be here soon, but it's ticking over in my mind, so watch this space....

Talking to the little people....

As always, I do my best to reply to all emails and messages. It's actually one of the most enjoyable parts of my week. Talking to readers is one of the true joys of writing for me. I love to hear from anyone who's read my stories, so feel free to drop me a message some time.
