First of all, great piece of the theme. Question here, aside from the aesthetic of the picture, in your opinion, are their bodies durable enough to handle open space like that and for how long? (Such as, compared to us for example) Asking because in the event that for whatever reason in the cosmos that a drake gets spaced or just thrown out of an air lock, what would the results be?

if they keep their eyes close and expel all the air from their lungs, several minutes. about 15. what kills living things in space isn't freezing, it's suffocation AND oxygen and blood exploding in the lungs when exposed to vacuum. drakes can hold their breaths with their lungs filled for about 40 mins [avg, like marine reptiles--some longer, some shorter] they can survive in low/no oxygen for 15 or so minutes though with empty lungs. after that their brains start to die pretty quickly. if their eyes are open they would explode all their blood vessels and probably go blind. tho you know they can fix that XD
