So few things, more than I bothered to type on bluesky.

why scifi in december?

because xmas themes are tired and boring

why december at all?

personally i think any challenge a month long has more value at the END of the year, rather than middle. then you can truly look back and say 'before the year was over i did THIS.'  it's a great way to start the new year.

who can participate?

anyone and everyone.  whether or not you draw, paint, sketch, write, or do poetry, you can participate. I wanted to make sure it was inviting to EVERYONE. novice artists, advanced/skilled painters, poetic peeps, everyone.

the themes are highly flexible and open to interpretation. I did this intentionally so people if they participate, can find something enjoyable in the process. hence why I also made the themes vague rather than straight up saying "two turtle doves" or something otherwise highly specific.

as for my art personally? of course it will all be about drakes, their universe and creatures within it.
