Aeryn is a civilian drake, she has a mechanical and technological inclination. While the majority of the species are inarticulate warriors, Aeryn is colder and logical. Most likely due to her upbringing as an Androgyn. 

She is highly analytical and holds several certificates in technology. There isn't a device she can't repair or pull apart.
