Damian had been quietly sitting at the window, staring out at the low  hanging moon, waiting in silence for the demon to return to his home. It  would be several hours before Sethos came in, and the fox dropped a  uniform jacket atop one of Damian's fine velvet chairs. He looked worn,  and smelt of blood. The thin drake picked himself up and swooped around  the fox demon, his wings significantly more feathered now than months  ago when Sethos had found him and his operation.

Damian rubbed the foxes bruised cheek, then kissed it, slowly pulling  the fox into his chest and sighing softly. "You're home now, c'mere."  The drake wrapped his wings around Sethos and sighed into his red  head-fur, nuzzling it slightly. "I'm here for you" he muttered into his  mane, rubbing his upper arm, touching where he could and kissing his  forehead. He'd slowly pull the clothes off of his mate, embracing his  warm body and pulling him into bed. This time the drake would be the one  to comfort the fox. He'd protectively hold him the entire night, until  Sethos was sleeping soundly against his soft furred chest.
