A Notice About the Discord Server & Business Inquiries (Patreon)

The Discord benefit is not a way to try to speak with us about business just because we are more accessible there. We have had multiple users pretend that they need to get in touch with a mod when it isn't a moderating issue as a means of circumventing using the appropriate avenues for business inquiries.

We try to have a work schedule too, and we don't want to think about work 24/7. When someone messages us on Discord about a business inquiry because they feel we will answer more quickly than by email, they are not respecting the systems we put in place to protect our time. This is an example of setting boundaries so we don't have to deal with work issues outside of work hours. 

This also goes for our collaborators, please do not message them as a means of trying to get a hold of us for collaborations, work, etc. We have an email available, listed on our website. 

We appreciate you all and the majority of you do a great job of not treating us like we're on call. The server is a place to be able to chat and connect with our community, we have a lot of fun there and we would like to keep it that way.
