To Patreon or not to Patreon? (Patreon)

This channel has grown so much since the Something Series. We remember a time when Jeremey said if only 1% of his 100k followers contributed toward his Patreon he could do this full time. That dream happened! Then, in 2019, Vanessa started assisting full-time! Since then, we have been able to consistently hire contract workers for backgrounds, music, and voice-acting. We have made the business official with copyrights and trademarks, a bookkeeper, and a lawyer that charges us $20 to respond to an email (Kudos to all you current/future lawyers out there). We have even bought back an original IP earlier this year! For Youtube being a terrible platform to animators, we have managed to beat the odds!

All that being said, we deeply appreciate all of our supporters, but Patreon isn't the end-all-be-all for the channel's survival (or ours).

If you enjoy the behind-the-scenes updates or being credited at the end of the video, then those perks are here. If you enjoy being part of the discord community, then don't worry, you can stay even after you stop your subscription (just stay out of trouble :P). But if you're worried that TerminalMontage is in danger of ending any time soon, we don't see that happening (unless there's an adpocalypse or Nintendo decides to eat us) so feel free to support other artists/causes/etc!
