Side Quests is entering a hiatus! (Patreon)

FROM THE MOUTH OF JEREMEY: SORRY. It’s hard to keep up with updates while I work on Lores, pitching SQ, and trying to maintain a social life so I don't go stir crazy. I've been getting out more, but it’s still hard to find the right balance. I’ve come to realize the more I get out and do stuff, the more I want to draw (Side Quests), but for the past 2 years I’ve spent so much time indoors by myself. Drawing is really the last thing I want to do when I've already been sitting around on the computer all day - even when it’s for something as beloved as Side Quests. I might get a part time job as a chef’s assistant, just so I can have a reason to get out of the house. I’d actually love to have a (part time) job that doesn’t have to do with art for a while (as long as it’s not customer service), I think that would be the best way to recharge my batteries (while still giving me enough free time to start drawing when the inspiration returns). SQ won’t be going on a 2+ year long hiatus again though, I really want to finish this episode, I’m very proud with how it’ll come out (the script has been done for some time). So in the meantime, starting on February 1st, I’m going to change the Patreon campaign from monthly to per upload (and not upload). This month we posted tidbits of the Pitch Bible for SQ, but we can’t keep that up for long, and I don’t want to continue taking money when the comic isn’t updating. I think with this time I can freely work on SQ without feeling obligated, and maybe get a couple pages done and build up a queue so when I reactivate the Patreon it’ll be another steady flow of pages, rather than a page here and there. And hopefully I’ll be able to keep up! Thank you all so much for the support over these past few months, we'll be back soon!
