The emotions of "Adjust Fire" (Patreon)

Does Avery look familar? His face model has always been Jon Bernthal. Avery's just a bit tanner, has flat hair and a gap in his front teeth. (Avery had the tooth gap as a child, i decided recently to leave it as a adult.)

The traditional version of Adjust Fire does not do the story justice. Drawing Avery ugly crying and angry is so much better in full color with wrinkles and shadows in the face. The little hole in Avery's ear also made getting shot in the face look a little too casual. Decided to blast half his ear off in the digital art version.

Now I'm trying to draw realistic Archer. Archer has always been the most difficult character to draw.
