It was the final battle. Heroes vs the traitor hero. What could be more fitting than that?

“Give up Naofumi, you have nowhere to run!” Motoyasu shouted, proudly flashing his spear.

“Hand over the princess now and admit your mistake!” Ren spoke, yet not really expecting the situation to end peacefully.

“Justice will always prevail! And you can’t run away from Justice!” Itsuki declared, his bow ready and locked on.

Naofumi’s words were vague at best, yet his response very clear. He wasn’t going to let the princess he kidnapped go. That was all they needed to hear. Everyone was already ready to fight. Especially since all of them had a new secret weapon up their sleeves.

“Your struggle is meaningless this time around! We found the perfect counter against your cheating power!” Motoyasu declared, his spear starting to glow with a red sheen as it changed to a form not seen before.

“We have the justice weapons! One strike of those and ANYONE will instantly convert to the side of justice!” Itsuki grinned, his bow glowing red.

“Whether man or monster, it doesn't matter. This weapon is absolute.” Ren spoke, his sword glowing blue.

“And together we will bring justice upon you! JUSTICE CONVERSION BLITZ!!!”

As the three of them attacked together, assured of their victory as a mighty spear strike, a hefty sword blow and piercing arrow shot all hit the shield hero's shield at the same time, no one could have predicted what happened next. All attacks simply bounced off Naofumi’s shield and were reflected back at the real heroes, as if justice wasn’t as much on their side, as they had believed…

When he collided with the shield, two orthos heads were ready to strike in retaliation from said shield. The impact of his strike apparently hadn't done much more than make those dogs angry, and boy were they angry now. One of them immediately bit his arm, making him flinch but more importantly, the other one bit into his spear, absorbing all the power from his own attack and returning it full force into motoyasu’s body.

Then something unexpected happened, something that he thought impossible ever since he came to his world. The orthos head flung the spear out of his hands and into the air, a feat thought impossible to do to a weapon bound to his soul. Yet he didn’t have time to dwell on that, since he could feel a much more malicious force entering his body.

Though after a moment, he wasn’t even so sure if it was malicious though. It seeped into his tense body and made him relax more than he was willing to admit. Motoyasu felt calm. Despite feeling like his hands were about to burst apart and his body was going to implode, he felt calm. Like something big, yet necessary was happening to him.

That's when the spear came crashing down, stabbing right with the blunt side forwards directly into Motuyasu’s backside. But it didn't fall down. It couldn't fall down. He felt like the spear had become part of his body… his tail.

That's when he felt all of his body being remolded and reforged by the intruding spear, like it was changing him to fit right in. Motoyasu’s legs thickened and grew black fur, his bones bending in inhuman ways as they compensated for their superior size. At the same time, while his upper body stayed mostly human, he did feel his waist compressing by a lot, and his chest pushed out against his armor, leaving clear and visible dents in it as two very distinguishable mounds formed on his chest.

His ass, completely covered by black fur also grew to comical extents, almost to the point of him tipping over as another pair of limbs sprouted from the front of his lower body, putting his body even more into an imbalance. Until it happened.

He tipped over. He fell to the ground, yet not quite. His additional limbs stopped his fall. His butt had been pushed so far behind, that his forderlegs had room to grow. He couldn't even touch his butt anymore, it was so far away, yet he was still standing. On four legs. When those extra legs were finally fully grown, he realized something that put his entire perception in question.

His manhood, in all the confusion about his growing legs, had completely disappeared. Neither between his front nor his back legs was anything anymore, that would resemble a proof of manhood. Yet she didn't have time to mourn, as her arms were now acting up more than ever before.

At first she had just thought they were tearing apart, but that wasn't true. Her hand was changing, her fingers vanished and teeth appeared. Ears and eyes soon followed. Her arm did not hold a hand anymore. Those were dog heads.

All of that forced her to overthink her situation, feeling like her dog head had given her an additional head to think this through. Her legs were clearly that of a dog, all four of them. Her additional heads were that of dogs. Her figure was that of a dog. This only really left space for one conclusion: She was a dog.

And a good dog needs a good owner, yet who would that be? The word justice pulsed inside of her head for a brief moment, before her eyes settled on the more than confused Naofumi that was still standing in front of her.

Somehow, her knees immediately went weak looking at him. He looked so imposing, so mighty, so powerful, so… like a leader. Like a person Motoyasu would do anything for. After all, she was a good girl. The goodest girl even! And she would prove that to anyone who stood in the way of her master! She was the Shield Hero’s faithful spearhead watchdog after all!

Ren staggered backwards, his attack deflected by the shield much better than he expected. He wasn't a big fan of the Justice strike from the very beginning, since it wasn’t something that existed in the game he had played before, but he thought it would at least to a little more than literally nothing.

Well, more than nothing to Naofumi at least, as he did feel a strange energy pulsing through his sword ever since the impact. Though he pushed past that weird feeling and prepared to strike Naofumi once again when… Ren's sword split apart.

It felt to him like his soul and body were split apart together with the sword, sending the strangest feelings he ever experienced down his entire body. His lower halves quickly felt bloated, like his legs were growing, while his upper body actually felt like it was shrinking. But none of that mattered, because something weird was happening with his split swords. They were starting to fuse with his arms.

Everything was happening too fast, Ren barely had time to process all of it. His lower half continued to grow bigger and taller, causing him to grow quite a bit bigger while his upper body lost much of his manly definition, instead revealing a lot more feminine curves. Even boobs started to grow on his chest. His hands were almost completely gone, the swords taking the place of those and when he almost tripped, he realized that he even had a second pair of huge spiky arms growing out of his monstrous lower half now.

Yet moving his sword hands, his monstrous hands or even his newfound spiky tail around, Ren realized something: He could cause a lot of damage with his new body. And not in a good way. If he didn't pay attention, just one wrong move might destroy a cliff, break a rock or even worse, hurt an ally. And this realization caused a feeling of dread within him that he never felt before.

This race of dragon he was becoming, a giant two legged creature with an upper body of a beautiful girl, that wasn't in the games she played. She didn't know what she was capable of, but based on her feelings purely, it was a lot. And it just kept getting worse as her body still refused to stop growing.

Draconic wings sprouted from her dragon like body, one flap enough to topple a building surely. Her draconic fists more than twice the size of her human upper body, while her human arms were nothing other than the remains of her sword. Together with her dragon half, she was surely over three and maybe four times the height of a regular human, which she knew would certainly make completely normal things for humans completely impossible to her.

And that’s when it struck her. She didn’t have to go at everything alone. Ren could just do what she is good at, which was fighting and destroying, and leave more human stuff to her allies. Someone who is capable and knows everything that is going on, so that she could follow them without worry.

So she desperately needed a reliable tactician and leader to guide her, yet who would that be? The word justice pulsed inside of her head for a brief moment, before her eyes settled on the more than confused Naofumi that was still standing in front of her.

That's right… Naofumi is always fighting the informational war with entire kingdoms without any problem at all. And he is already a master at commanding inhuman servants as she could clearly see. Yes, she knew the moment she laid her eyes on him that he should be the one wielding the power of the sword dragon. He is worthy of it. Although joining a party with a filolial in it suddenly left somewhat of a bad taste in her mouth.

Ren didn't know why…

Never in Itsukis life had he been more sure of an attack. The Shield Hero literally kidnapped a princess and made a run for it. He refused to cooperate and even fought the entire army sent to ensure princess Meltys safety. How could justice ever be on his side?!?

Yet the arrow of Justice returned, deflected by his shield and hitting Itsuki right into his chest. His thoughts were racing, none of this made any sense. They had gotten these new weapons from the royal weapon chamber and they were advertised as the ultimate weapon of justice. And they did work against bandits and the like before, Itsuki tested it. So why not against Naofumi…?

It was like his hands, feet and entire world unraveled itself in front of him, he was that flabbergasted. Wait… his hands and feet? One glance downwards and he saw how his hands were starting to lose their forms, instead becoming what he could only describe as tentacle-like vines. This entire situation was so absurd, he didn't even realize that he had dropped his bow, a feat that was supposed to be impossible for a cardinal hero. And neither did he notice that his bow was unraveling itself too into vines, just like his feet did.

His hands were unrecognizable at that point, better described as a collection of vines than anything else. The form of a hand only existing as an afterthought. Instead, a yellow flower started to bloom in the midst of these vines, which somehow made Itsuki realize that his hands were getting some sort of greater purpose.

However, Itsuki's lower body wasn’t spared just because he wasn't paying attention to it. his legs had almost completely been reduced to nothing more than a duo of powerful vines, surrounded by smaller vines. His bow was nowhere to be seen, having also been turned into vines indistinguishable from the ones growing from itsuki’s body. Meaning it might as well have already completely become part of him.

That being said, it was his midsection that demanded attention next, as his armor could barely hold in what was happening underneath. His waist slimming down to a feminine degree barely registered to him at all. But it was just below his stomach, where the pressure started to become increasingly unbearable. Feeling more intently, it was like his behind and hips were unraveling themselves and growing in all directions until… his clothes just couldn't take it anymore.

And as Itsuki's clothes completely bursted apart he saw that the reason for his discomfort was nothing else than… giant flower pedals? HIs butt, his hips, his legs, all of that was completely gone. Instead it was just a huge yellow flower with vines coming out the other side. Lots and lots of vines.

And those weren’t an illusion either. He could feel and move all of those vines at his own discretion, as well as feel the flower pedals. They were part of him now, no doubt about it. Although when leafs started to position themselves around his chest, another realization dawned on him.

He was becoming a girl, wasn’t he? His slender physique, curved in waist, slightly expanded chest and longer hair… not to mention how he felt his face shift a tiny bit. He had no way to check it, since he no longer had a… human private part at all, but it was undeniable at that point. Itsuki was a girl.

And he was surprisingly okay with that. From all the weird changes happening all around her body, this one was the least weird. For example, mere moments after she realized her femininity, her hands finished changing into nothing other than two natural bows at the ends of her arms. That was much stranger.

Yet looking at her bows, at her flowery half, even her green skin, it was undeniable how much her sense of Justice screwed her over. An arrow that pierces injustice and converts them to the side of Justice? What kind of stupid double edged weapon is that? For example, the arrow she shot got reflected by Naofumi and hit her. Meaning Justice was on HIS side and not on hers. Somehow, despite all the evidence she had and everything that she was told, he was the good guy, and she was the bad girl.

She couldn't let that stand. She just couldn't. That meant she was lied to by everyone. Itsuki should have never trusted that dirty two faced princess, just like Naofumi said. The word Justice rang through her head one final time, yet she was completely done with that.

Screw justice. What point is there to justice if people are just going to warp it and lie about it? You have to fight evil with evil, that's the way of the world. She was completely done with her days as an honest hero, no need to hold back anymore. After all, she now knew of a single person who was definitely the good guy, regardless of what anyone else was saying. And she was willing to give it her all to make sure all of his plans will come to pass.

The battle was pretty much decided in a single strike. All three heroes who were supposed to have cornered Naofumi were no more, barely recognisable in the new forms they had taken on. Each of them a monstrous yet beautiful lady in their own right, with one thing they all shared in common.

They knew Naofumi was in the right. And they knew that the entire elite army of Melromarc was cornering him. Which also means, they all knew what they had to do.

“Master Naofumi! Master Naofumi! Should I pounce them?!? Should I pounce them?!?” Motoyasu eagerly asked, her spear tail wagging like the one of a puppy who just discovered a toy for the first time. Her dog heads were drooling in anticipation and her human head wasn't doing much better.

“My lord, Naofumi. This terrain… is not stable enough to withstand my attacks at full power. How much should I be holding back and what do you want me to strike?” Ren asked, sharpening her sword hands against each other while cracking the knuckles of her huge dragon fists. Yet she wasn't in a hurry. Whenever her lord would give her the command, that's when she would act.

“Naofumi. The one that instigated this whole ordeal is no doubt Myne, that two faced bitch. Do you want me to silence her forever?” Itsuki asked, her bow already ready and aimed, with vines pulling back the bow string of the bow her hands had become. “Or would you rather we take her hostage for now? I am fine with either honestly.”

Naofumi himself was overwhelmed. He had no idea what had just happened. The only thing he knew for sure was…

This battle suddenly seemed a lot more winnable than it did before.

“You little evil flower! Give that back!” Motoyasu declared, chasing after Itsuki, who was hanging upside down on a tree holding on with only her vines and nothing else.

“It’s your fault you know?” Itsuki replied, shrugging her shoulders and taking another bite out of the grilled meat the party had prepared. “You should have been more attentive to the things you value!”

“Just because you are a spy or thief or something doesn't mean you can steal from us!” Motoyasu barked back, her dog heads also barking up the tree Itsuki was hanging from.

“Yeah! You stole mine as well! Give it back!” Raphtalia also angrily pounded against the tree, though Itsuki apparently didn't care much more for her than she did for the dog girl.

“Good for you that you want it back, but that aint gonna help you with me. I don’t even want you to travel with us to be honest. If it were my choice, then I would just have the party only be with Naofumi, the true good guy of this world, and me, his merciless executioner. And no one else. Got that?” Itsuki boldly declared, taking another bite from the meat she had stolen.

“...and what if I told you that that meat you are holding was supposed to be for master Naofumi?” Raphtalia asked and just as she finished those words, the meat had already been placed in her hand again. She didn't know when or how Itsuki did it, but she had given it back.

“Hey! No fair! Give me my meat back too!” Motoyasu and her dog's heads barked, yet Itsuki didn't even respond to her anymore. She just gave Raphtalia an evil side eye that said ‘If you give this meat to anyone other than the master, I am personally going to kill you’.

Raphtalia just sighed.

“You know, I have been wondering Filo…” Ren spoke, sitting on the ground next to the smallest girl of the party, carefully tending to the meat on the grill with her colossal dragon hands quite skillfully. “...why is it that we don't like each other?”

“Filo doesn't know. Filo just doesn't like dragons.” Filo carefreely replied.

“I understand where you are coming from. I don’t like the presence of such a powerful filolial either. It makes me very uneasy. But why is that?” Ren asked, turning the meat on the grill while slicing new pieces with her huge sword arms. ”Is this some sort of inherent grudge? Something we are born with and cannot change? Or is it something conscious? Maybe it is some sort of mind magic? What do you think?”

“Filo doesn't know. Filo just doesn't like dragons.” Filo carefreely replied.

“I kinda want to find out where this hatred is coming from. There shouldn't be any reasons for a dragon and a filolial to work and band together under the same lord. For my part, I can recognize your strength as something very exceptional and having you as my partner in this party is an incredible asset. Don’t you feel similarly towards me as well?”

“Filo doesn't know. Filo just doesn't like dragons.” Filo carefreely replied.

“...not much of a talker, are you?” Ren asked with a light chuckle, putting another slice of meat onto the fire.

“No, Filo does talk. It’s just… Filo doesn’t like dragons and doesn’t like talking to dragons. But you are nice at least, Filo is sure. Even if Filo doesn't like you.” Filo replied while shrugging, much to the delight of Ren.

“I see. That's great to hear.” She replied, handing Filo another piece of grilled meat with her massive draconic arm. “You are nice too, Filo.”

Meanwhile, on the edge of the camp overseeing the entire situation sat Naofumi together with Melty, both of them in utter silence and disbelief. And who could blame them, this entire situation came entirely out of left field. Nobody could have predicted that an attack that hailed from the stupid bunch of heroes themselves would cause them not only to switch sides on a dime, but also turn them into… literal monsters.

That's when Raphtalia swung by to them. “Hey, Master Naofumi. I got you something to eat.”

“Thanks.” He replied dryly.

“What do you think about them? Are they trustworthy?” Raphtalia asked, sitting down next to the two of them.

“So here is the thing.” Naofumi sighed, then opened up the menu only he could see. “They wormed themselves into my party and even now possess a slave-like status called ‘monsters devotion’. I read up on that a little bit and yeah, I don’t think any of them will betray us ever again. Though you could probably gather that from their behavior anyway…”

“Except Itsuki. That guy… I mean girl, is a pain in the butt. I am not sure if she is safe to be around.” Raphtalia retorted, but Naofumi just shook his head.

“No, Itsuki is completely devoted, just in a very twisted way. I think she herself just distrusts everyone now besides me for god knows what reason. But one thing is for sure, she trusts me completely with her life.”

“What about Sir Motoyasu?” Metly asked, entering the conversation.

“Ha! I have made the joke before that Motoyasu was nothing less than that Bitches dog… and now she is literally my dog. In the most literal sense possible. She is like 3 of my dogs now simultaneously.”

“So you are saying it's safe to trust her?” Melty asked again, to which Naofumi nodded.

“To be honest the most unsafe and at the same time most impressive one of the bunch has to be Ren. I mean, she turned into a giant ass dragon.” Naofumi declared, almost breaking a laugh. “And yet, she is the one who is most considerate of others now. It feels like she doesn’t want to make any wrong moves and would rather not move than make a mistake. And she loves to leave the choice of when to act up to me. What a contrast to the old Ren I knew…”

“Most definitely…” Melty added, to which Raphtalia giggled.

“Well, our adventure is about to get a whole lot more exciting, isn’t it?”

“If by exciting you mean monstrous, then yes, absolutely.” Naofumi let out a laugh, then looked up at the starry sky before returning his gaze to the three monstrous girls in front of him. “You know, with all three Heroes under my control, I am not sure how much power Myne still holds over us. We might need to give her a visit some time in the near future.”

“Oh? Is that the next plan of action?” Istuki suddenly appeared beside Naofumi, surprising everyone. It was like she bloomed out of the ground just all of a sudden. “I am ashamed I wasn't able to eliminate her in our last encounter. Just say the word and I'll infiltrate and spy on the Melromarc castle for all the information you would ever need.”

“Myne is the bad guy right! She did mean things to master, right?” Motoyasu hissed, her dog heads looking very angry. “I'll protect my master from anyone and anything this time around! Anything that dares to touch him shall be torn to shreds!!!”

“This might be just an assumption, but you don’t need my power when you get to Melromarc, right?” Ren softly spoke, her hefty footsteps almost drawing her voice out as the ground shook with every step. “I mean, it’s Meltys home so we shouldn’t really destroy the castle, right? Although we might need to destroy the church from what I have heard… Anyway, your call. I'll be on standby till then, kay?”

How it had come to this, Naofumi had no idea. But one thing was for sure. Melromarc was in monstrous trouble now with Naofumi’s new allies. So there was only one thing left for him to say, as he let out a sigh then a victorious smile.

“Alright girls, tomorrow at sunrise, we are moving out towards Meromarc!”

And all the girls cheered.

Weapons that can convert anyone to the side of justice are very potent. But you might want to double check that you are on the good side before using them…
