“Where the hell is Robert’s project? It was due hours ago!” Kenith Rogers grumbled. He was the CEO of a software firm in Greenstream, a smaller local company but had more influence and power than even some of the more mainstream software firms in the area. Kenith was a bit of a strict leader though he didn’t have a short temper or was particularly spiteful. Though when things go against his schedule, it did tend to put him in a sour mood for the rest of the day. It didn’t help that Robert, an employee he had nothing but praise for and was almost never late with his projects, was now running late with a very important project. Kenith assumed that something had come up or there was a rather annoying bug that he was trying to fix.

“He does realize I have a very important meeting in thirty minutes and I need that project to land this- ah!” As Kenith silently ranted to himself, he got an email from none other than Robert. He quickly opened the email and let out a sigh of relief as he saw the attachment was the project he needed to present. Robert also wrote a message to go along with the email, but it was strangely worded and had a large number of odd typos here and there.

“Dear Kenith,

Srry bout the lattnes! My pawwsj mak things hard to tpe ass yo u can clearly seee. Hadtofix a Lot off errrorrs wit htis one, srry! Oh, an dIg ot this attacnmehnt frdolm a friendwho wNTed you to reAD this!
Roze~”

“That’s… Wait, Roze? I don’t remember having an employee named Roze- fuck! Come on Robert, you better not be playing a trick on me!” Kenith was getting pissed and thought for a few seconds that the email was some sort of prank by either Robert or this “Roze” person. He quickly checked the program attachment and ran it quickly. He let out a sigh of relief as the program ran with no issues and produced the results he wanted. “Just pulling my leg, huh? I need to talk about this personally when the meeting is over, he can’t scare me like this again…” Kenith sighed.

He reread the odd email and noticed that Robert/Roze mentioned another attachment from a friend that he should check out. There wasn’t another attachment to the email but Kenith did find a link that was tucked under it. He couldn’t recognize the url and there wasn’t anything that could hint to where it would bring him to. “Is this the attachment he was talking about? Why did he sent it as a link and… Well, guess there’s only one way to find out.”

Kenith clicked on the link, not sure where it would bring him or if it would start downloading something. A new tab open on his browser only to close almost immediately. Kenith blinked and the link in Roze’s email was gone….
“What? What happened?!?” Kenith looked under Roze’s name, expecting a link to be there but there wasn’t anything under it. “Didn’t I just…? I am pretty sure I just pressed on a link. How does one delete a link out of a sent Email?!?”

Many questions, but no answers. In the end he didn’t really have much of a choice then to just shrug his shoulders and say: “Oh well. Robert delivered his work and I can now move on from this nightmare. We might have to talk about that Email again if I see him though. Now then… next on my agenda is…”

Closing the Email that was giving him a slight headache by this point Kenith opened up the project that he actually needed to work on. Alongside the project, he had a text document up to practice the speech he was going to give at the meeting. Kenith cleared his throat and began to read: “Good afternoon everyone. I want to welcome our guests here for- f-for…” Kenith stuttered his words a little and shivered a bit.

For some reason, he was completely off his game today, as everything just seemed to purposefully inconvenience him, even if in just a very minor way. Even his voice failed him now, something that had never happened before. Maybe he just didn’t have enough coffee today.

“Um, we are here to present our new data storage system that’ll make it easy for you to keep your systems organized!” He continued, feeling a weird tingle on his neck, like something was slowly being dissolved with every word he spoke. Though even after a small pause he couldn’t figure out what it was, since it wasn’t like he had an adams apple or something similar to speak off. That's also why so many people told him that his soprano voice was so pleasant to listen to, which Kenith understood to a degree.

“We also have- ah, ah! Oh… Backups in case of- Ugh, my chest is getting in the way again…” With a sigh, Kenith pulled his seat back a bit, pulling his chest away from the ‘M’ key that spammed across his document… again. Why does he keep forgetting that his B cup… more like C cup… actually D cup is something he should keep in mind for that.

By this point he had just pretty much given up on starting the speech again and just wanted to get through it, since he wouldn’t be telling many new things to the employees anyway.

“As you can clearly see, our system will keep your-Eep~” A shiver went down his spine, causing a very cute yelp to escape his mouth. It felt like something was poking him behind and inflating it, like something was flowing out of it and at the same time causing it to swell.

“It will keep yo-” He attempted not to care, but one of his foxtails pressed uncomfortably against the chair, which he then somehow managed to smack against his face when he tried to readjust.

Deep breath. “It will clearly keep…” Three of the other tails smacked against the back of his head and this time he didn’t even know why. Kenith just sighed. “It is clearly not good at keeping your tails out of your face, that's for sure… Anyways, where was I…?”

“Ah, right. From this example, our system showcases why- Uh… Ooooo…”

Seriously? Was she seriously getting horny NOW? And while working on a speech about computer systems no less. She really needed to let herself be checked up, because feeling like something slammed full force into your hatch of femininity out of nowhere was definitely not normal. Good thing she was alone in the office right now, otherwise she might have died of shame.

“Oh what I would give to know what was wrong with me todaaaaa~?!?” Kelly yelped once again, this time from getting tickled on the back of her neck. She instantly slammed her hand against it as a reflex, though hit nothing. Well, nothing besides her very, very long hair, that she knew would tickle her on her back sometimes.

And now Kelly even felt stupid for getting scared by her own hair. Great. That was the exact moment when she just wanted to bury her head and her long foxy ears underground in shame and come back to everything tomorrow. But she couldn’t. Because she had a meeting to attend to. A meeting that will happen in…

“...Ah! Oh no, the meeting! I need to get to Room 2.154!”

Kelly quickly downloaded the project Roze had sent her onto a USB drive and grabbed whatever papers we needed for the meeting. Trying to rush to the meeting room while wearing heels and having long fluffy tails she could easily step on made getting there a bit of a challenge. Despite this setback, Kelly managed to make it in the nick of time, stepping into the room just as the meeting was supposed to begin. Everyone fell silent and stared at the kitsune girl with perplexed expressions.

Kelly froze for a bit, trying to think why everyone was staring down at her. “Um…” She stuttered. She adjusted her shirt and stood up tall. “*Ahem* Good afternoon everyone. I would like to thank our guests for coming over today,” she began. Kelly began to walk over to her seat, but accidently stepped on one of her tails, causing her to fall over. “Kyah!” She screamed. She came quite close to crashing into the ground, but her fall was suddenly broken as two of the employees near her managed to grab her tails.

Another one got up and began to collect the papers that had fallen out of Kelly’s hands. “You two- unhand me! This is so inappropriate!” Kelly managed to balance herself and stand up on her own. She turned around to face and scold her employees. “That was-” Kelly froze and took a good moment to look at their faces. “That’s- thank you,” she muttered.
“You’re… uh, welcome ma’am. But who are you exactly?” One of the men asked.
“Who am I? Who am I!?” Kelly bit her lip. “I’m your boss you! Now please sit down so we can begin.”

Despite her irritation, Kelly’s voice still came across as soft and cute. She looked at the members from the company they would be partnering with, afraid she might have scared them or ruined their chances with them. Though they didn’t appear irritated at all and seemed to be… fascinated with her tails. Kelly looked around the room and saw her employees muttering to one another and sharing confused expressions.

Kelly cleared her throat again and began to talk. “Apologies for that scene, I do occasionally trip on my own tails at times.” She managed to get to her seat without too much issue. “Today, I will be presenting our new data storage system to help your company organize your systems!” There was a laptop already at her desk and she placed the USB into it. The confused looks slowly vanished as Kelly made her presentation. In fact, she noted that a lot of the usual “slackers” were paying very close attention this time around, much to her own surprise.

After a half an hour, Kelly finished her presentation. “And that concludes why you should adopt our system,” she said. The kitsune looked over at the partner company’s representatives. Seeing their smiling faces as they discussed with one another gave it away that the presentation was a success.
“Thank you for your time… Uh…” One of the representatives began to speak. “I’m sorry, I thought Mr. Rogers was going to present today. Who are you?”
“Mr. Rogers? That’s Miss Rogers to you!” Kelly said. She got a lot of confused looks from everyone in the room. The turmoil didn’t last very long and giving her great presentation, the partners and the employees just shrugged off this oddity.

“Apologies for that. Thank you Ms. Rogers for your presentation,” The representative said. With the meeting a success, Kelly walked back to her office to type a thank you email to Roze. She heard some strange mutterings as she left the room.
“Wow, she’s better than the old one.”
“Ms. Rogers? No way that’s coincidence.”
“You think that fairy got to him?”
“Haha, if she did, we got bless with FLOOF!”

Kelly wasn’t sure what they were all talking about, but she wasn’t in the mood to yell at her employees. She strutted back to her office to type a thank you letter to her most prized employee.

We all need some more kitsunes in our lives. Especially Kitsune bosses. Now where did I put that computervirus to infect my superior...
