“Good work today, Marius!” Manfred, the chief of Marius’ branche, said as the two of them surprisingly left work at the same time that day. The chief had a big smile on his face as he patted the slightly overworked Marius on the back, as if to cheer him up. Though even his words didn’t help much in the matter. “Don’t worry about that thing anymore today. We’ll surely have it fixed tomorrow and then you can continue your work as usual. I promise.”

“Thanks boss.” Was all he managed to get out as a reply. Marius didn’t hate his boss in any way, no Manfred was quite a skilled man, he just… wasn’t good at reading the room. And right now, Marius was just not in the mood to talk to anyone.

So Marius waved his boss goodbye as he walked towards his car in the parking lot, before he himself began to be on his way home as well. After all, Marius had the advantage/disadvantage that his home was only about 20 minutes away from his work, meaning he couldn’t really justify buying a car with his salary.

But that was fine, because Marius quite enjoyed his walks home. Gave him time to think about stuff that was on his mind out in fresh air, which he really needed sometimes. Today for example was one of those days.

Marius, as much as he would have loved to deny it, had always been haunted by what he loved to call ‘petty bad luck’. It was like for every good thing that happened to him, a bad thing also had to inevitably follow.

For example, he had gotten an awesome job recently, but he messed up in the first week so badly that his hopes at a promotion was pretty much dashed. He had finally gotten his first big project to work on, but his computer malfunctioned today and lost him hours upon hours of work. He found an apartment pretty quickly, but it was just the perfect distance away from his work so that he couldn't justify a car, yet had to walk for 40 minutes every day.

It seemed that no matter what he did or didn’t do, bad luck was almost always on his trail. His friends tended to call him a bit petty for every small detail, but it really just went to show how many bad things happen to him on a regular basis so that he got to complain so much about it.

In any case, now was that time again. Time for Marius to walk back home, alone, through the darkness the winter season usually brought with it. It was already somewhat cold outside, but Marius had decided to take advantage of this time where not many people were out and about to take a few different paths on his way home, just to take in more of the city in all of its near winter glory.

No snow though, just cold. Because it would have been too lucky for him to see a beautiful snow covered city…

Though suddenly, in his pessimistic stupor, he saw a strangely bright light coming from an alley he had never gone through before. It wasn’t like he had anything else to do, and since he was always open to taking new paths home, he walked towards it, hoping to find something exciting, though not really expecting much. Though what he saw next had him staring with an open mouth briefly.

“An… Angel?” He muttered out, looking at the beautiful female figure with large pure white wings that walked towards him, though she looked a bit shocked at the sight of Marius. She didn’t stop walking towards him however, still approaching him with every single one of her steps seemingly happening completely silent, like she was a ghost walking on earth.

“Very interesting.” The angelic lady spoke, her voice sending waves of relaxation through Marius’ body, making his body just flat out refuse to move in her presence. Though the warmth she gave off also made her presence feel rather pleasant despite his circumstances. Another case of his ‘petty bad luck’, because it felt great, but now he can’t move.

“You don’t strike me as the type of person who is content with their life.” She said, looking him briefly in the eyes, making him see the vast heavenly power that resided beyond the jewels of eyes he was looking at. The angel then pulled away, which also relieved much of the pressure she was asserting on Marius.

“I can help you, mortal. We shall meet again tonight, in a place you know well, but wouldn’t expect it.” And then she snapped her fingers and a bright light filled the alley, completely filling Marius' vision on all sides. And when he opened his eyes, he was no longer in an alley in the middle of town, but right in front of his house.

Did he just space out and let his fantasies run so wild that he didn’t even remember having arrived in front of his own home?

Confused and still slightly shaken from his memories, Marius entered his home and shook his head. Of course angels aren’t real. And they never will be. That woman surely was just a normal, regular, everyday woman that had like… a weird lighting happening from behind her. That must have been it, no doubt. Imagine believing that angels actually exist…

At least this train of thought gave Marius somewhat comfort as he went to do his daily chores around his house, feeling much better than he did before. It was just an ordinary day with nothing good or bad happening… or at least, that's what he told himself.

But there was just something nagging at the back of Marius’ mind, something that he couldn’t quite pinpoint. No, he knew exactly what it was, he just was too embarrassed to actually admit it.

That angel promised him that they would meet up again today, in a place he knew but didn't expect here. He was like 86% sure that he had imagined the conversation with her completely, yet, somehow, he couldn’t sleep that night. The hours got later and later, way past what he would usually like to have stayed up past, but he couldn’t sleep. He just hoped, somehow, that he would be able to meet that angel again. But alas, it seemed that it just wasn’t meant to be… until the clock hit 23:41 exactly!

Suddenly, a huge wave of dizziness hit Marius all at once, making him stubble instantly. Having just stood up from his bed to get another glass of water suddenly seemed like a very bad idea, as tiredness hit him so hard that he fell face first back into his bed. And with his eyelids' weight getting doubled with every second, it was a complete defeat against whatever wanted him to fall into a deep, deep slumber…

“That took you longer than I expected. Were you perchance hoping to avoid me, boy?” A regal but very familiar sounding voice spoke as Marius managed to open his eyes back up again. He was standing on nothing, in a great white and empty space where only a single other figure besides him stood. It was the angel again.

“Oh well, you shall be forgiven for your foolish actions. Now listen up, mortal.” The angel spoke in a commanding voice that shook Marius to his core, yet somehow sounded comforting at the same time.

“I am the mighty Seraph, Seraphiel. The second of the great four. And I am here to extend an offer to you.” Seraphiel spoke slowly and with meaning behind every word and movement she made, causing Marius to look up to her in awe despite her not even being that much taller than him.

“A-A Seraph?!? You mean those biblical creatures even higher than the highest angels?” Marius stuttert. Maybe being so interested in those fictional creatures from all sorts of mythology was finally paying itself off.

“Indeed.” Seraphiel nodded. “It seems like you already have heard of our kind. That should make things easier.”

“Yes, I have. They are said to be the most selfless and benevolent beings the world has ever been blessed with. Standing right beside the great lord, acting as his right hand of justice.” Marius spoke, the words just kinda flowing out of his mouth. He was really glad he was so well versed in this topic.

“‘Selfless’ seems like the wrong word to describe us. More like our desires are beyond human understanding. You mortals just tend to interpret our grandeur as selflessness, just because your Plights can so effortlessly be fixed with just a fraction of our power.” She answered in a way that quite surprised Marius.

“...so what do you want from me then? I am not sure I can even offer something to a being like you.” Marius let out, once again his mouth moving on its own rather than him thinking about it. It almost felt like he could neither lie nor attempt to hide the truth in her presents. If he felt like something would be important for her to know, his mouth would speak by itself.

“I shall offer you to become my subordinate, an Angel of the Lord many times more powerful than the strongest human alive or dead in exchange for you to leave your boring life behind.” She spoke, casting her hand forward as a huge wave of holy energy exploded into every direction, almost as if to celebrate her offer. “Do you accept?”

“I-I… I don’t… know…?” Was all Marius could utter, even more shocked than before.

Was this for real? Did this holy Seraph really just offer him to become an angel? It has to be real, she seemed real enough. He really didn’t know what to do…

Until the gentle rays of the light behind Seraphiel suddenly calmed him down, making his thoughts form more clearly in his head. Marius was kinda sick of his life anyways, being toyed around with his bad luck and stuck in his everyday every man's job that no one cared about.

Had he not always wished for an opportunity to leave this all behind? An opportunity to become powerful, defeat his bad luck and take destiny into his own hand? Wasn’t an Angel all of that and so much more? Heck, in every story ever written, every angel had enough influence and power to be allowed to meet god personally, a feat no human could ever hope to accomplish. It almost seemed like the answer was a no brainer at this point…

“I accept. Let me become an Angel!” Maruis spoke willingly and ready.

“Excellent” Seraphiel answered, raising her hand into a snapping position. “Then let's rejoice in the real world and end your beauty slumber at once.”

Snap~

"Waaah!!!" Marius screamed, having suddenly been ripped out of the dream without warning.

By now it was the dead of night and with just one glance around he confirmed that everything was still the same as he remembered it.

“That was super strange. But I suppose it was all a dream then, I knew it was too good to be true…” He sighed as he decided to throw aside the blankets and sat upon the edge of the bed. Though as he stood up his gaze was drawn by a somewhat bright light that had just appeared out of nowhere in the middle of the room forcing him to squint due to his eyes having already adjusted to the darkness of the night.

“Do you intend to dismiss me into dreams already?” Seraphiel spoke in a bit of annoyance, as she appeared in the center of the shining light, making it clear where the mysterious light was coming from. “Since you have accepted my offer, I expect you to keep your side of the bargain. You shall become my beautiful subordinate!”

With a snap an arrow of light appeared out of thin air in Seraphils hand then shot towards Marius’ chest. He couldn’t physically feel it hit him, but he could tell when it entered his body, because his body suddenly started to feel pleasantly warm. Also, was the room getting brighter?

“What the?!” He let out yet he couldn’t help look at his hands in amazement. The room wasn’t getting brighter, he was starting to glow from the inside. And the warmth it gave off was comforting and filling to the void that had been inside him, even if he couldn’t quite explain why. However, when the light started to pulse with his heartbeat, and started sending shockwaves through his entire body, he understood that something big was about to happen to him.

“Angels are in many ways the ultimate beings created by the Lord. No other creature even comes close to reaching the powers of even the lowest of our kind.” Seraphiel spoke with her arms wide open. “And you are now becoming one of us. A new and beautiful angel!”

And Marius knew what that girl talked about wasn’t just for show, because the moment she moved her hands he could also feel his body starting to shake from the inside. It was as if some overwhelming force began shaping his form, causing him to quickly bear witness to the alterations Seraphiel had planned for him.

First off were his hands, each becoming smaller, slender, and smooth within seconds, so that even the nails looked longer, fine and well cared for. He moved, rubbed his hands together and touched his face, just to make sure he wasn’t just imagining these alterations. Though while he was doing that his arms followed suit and went though the same to fit in with his hands, becoming feminine in form, so that both fit together, equally as smooth and soft.

“Before that question even leaves your mouth: Yes, there are male angels out there. Do I want one working for me? Certainly not.” Seraphiel shook her head in denial. “We angels aren’t as selfless as you make us out to be, so don’t expect to stay male if you are to start working for me.”

By now Marius’ legs were feeling awfully tired, like he had recently been forced to run a marathon.Though that gave him the clue that his legs were also changing and even in a similar manner to his arms, as his feet became smaller and more graceful, moving as if gliding across the air itself with his will alone.

As for his calves they became slimmer as well while opposite of them his thighs grew softer and more rounded, pressing his privates against them a bit despite the increased width of his hips. And most importantly of all, he couldn’t help but notice that growing sense of warmth spreading in his chest. It was pulsing and echoing from each changed portion of his body, which somehow made him feel happy, right, and fulfilled.

“Humans have been ruling long enough over the land our lord had given them for far too long. Recently it has been decided to take it back.” Seraphiel added, her eyes looking serious. “So we need an army.”

From his shrinking shadow he witnessed that his upper body had also started to change to match the far more graceful and without a doubt powerful form he was gaining. It didn’t matter to him that he was getting smaller and more feminine, he knew that underneath that seeming weakening of his image he was gaining something far greater.

Once his entire torso had properly matched up with his arms and legs he broke out into a smile. He could no longer help it. He just felt that powerful and happy, more than ever before in his entire life. And that got even amplified when the sensations shot into his head and he knew he’d not keep his manly visage for much longer.

As promised his face started to change becoming a proper expression of beauty in its purest form his lips swelled a bit becoming downright kissable while his eyes changed in color to a striking bright yellow that could entrap anyone who looked into them with how bewitching they were.

“Even if a few normal Angels would probably be enough to subdue humanity, I am not one that intends to surround herself with divine beings of the lowest class.” Seraphiel spoke cockiely and pointed her finger at the still uncontrollably smiling Marius. “So let’s raise your divine rank a bit so that you become worth talking to. Become an archangel!”

Another bold shot through Marius' chest, amplifying all the things that were already happening to him. His face contorted with pure pleasure that his limbs emitted while his stunning visage was complemented with the sudden growth of his hair into a glorious mane of golden blonde hair that shone even brighter in the dark than the rest of his body already did. Though somehow, he felt like something even brighter started to form above his head, floating above him…

“Hmm, still too low. Let’s go with Principality!” and Seraphiel shot another bolt through Marius’ chest, who immediately started to vibrate even harder. Though Seraphiel's aim was no mistake, as almost immediately after Marius felt two pulses in his chest and he placed his hands atop his still flat pecs in anticipation.

Seconds afterwards pleasure beyond what a human was capable off was inflicted upon Marius as his chest began to swell, clearly guided by Seraphiels hand. it felt so good that he almost stumbled backwards to the floor, though somehow he felt so light that it was impossible to fall. So he just stood still, moaning under the pleasure as beneath his palms his chest grew into a pair of respectable breasts, each large enough to easily fill a hand.

“Powers. Now you finally become worthy for me to talk to.” Seraphiel spoke as a little smile broke out on her face for the first time, before she aimed at Marius’ crotch and fired another arrow.

His lower region instantly felt like it was lit on fire as pleasurably powerful feelings of growth spread all across his lower body. His thighs thickened even further as well as his rear started to inflate, filling out nicely and becoming a proper match to his thighs and hips and providing him some extra cushioning as he stumbled against the wall. The pleasure that was building throughout his transformation was reaching a crescendo.

Then the purest form of power and pleasure hit his most precious spot, making him reach down and cupping his genitals as he awaited the final part of his change which came almost as swift as lightning. His penis felt like it was being magically pulled inwards into his body, which of course, made him moan aloud in his now feminine and lyrical voice as its attempts at inverting began.

It all reached its peak when he finally felt it disappear from between his legs and Marius let out a final shriek of happiness as she felt her slit finally make its appearance on her body crowning her transformation into a pure and proper female angel. Or rather, a Power.

Panting for a while, Marius tried to collect herself again, however much was possible. That was by far the most satisfyingly pleasurable experience she had ever gone through, though now something weird was happening in her head.

It was as if she was calmed down, relaxed, as if this level of pleasure was just normal to her all of a sudden. Memories of her duties came into her head as she recalled her position and powers. And after a while, her halo and eyes began to shine brightly, signifying that she had recalled everything.

“On this glorious day, you have been reborn, my child. Rejoice, as you have left your mortal body behind and have become the first of many who will serve me in this endeavor. Are you ready to serve me with your body and soul?” Seraphiel spoke, and suddenly her voice sounded so much more commanding than before. But the fresh angel knew exactly what to say.

“Yes, Lady Seraphiel!” She replied.

“Then spread your wings, my subordinate!” Seraphiel commanded and without delay, the fresh angel materialized two huge pure white wings on her back, spreading them so fast that a hefty gust of wind blew through the room.

“From this day on, I’ll dub thee Muriel!” Seraphiel spoke briefly, touching the fresh angel on the forehead, causing the name Muriel to imbue itself onto her soul. And she couldn’t be happier about it.

“Now go, Muriel! Go and turn some more humans into your angel subordinates. I shall be the first of the great four that musters an army in our endeavor to dethrone humans.” Seraphiel commanded, gesturing her hand towards the window, which magically opened by itself.

“I won’t disappoint you!” Muriel replied as she dashed out of the window and started to fly, as if she had years upon years of experience with her wings.

Muriel never expected that her life would take a turn like that, yet she definitely welcomed it with open arms. She was now powerful, graceful and most importantly, happier than she ever was before. Being an angel, she realized in the short time she had been one, truly was miles better than being a human.

And as she came closer to a certain house, she suddenly had a feeling that a certain boss by the name of Manfred would be experiencing the same pleasure soon to…

Boring life? Tired of work? Well, Marius certainly thought so. So it is no wonder that when an angel of the highest rank approached him and offered him a chance to become something far greater that he would definitely consider it. The only question is, is that angel really as the textbooks say?
