“And you are sure about this…?” Jalira, the genie asked the young man in front of her, holding her head in her hands again trying to cope with the fact that she was always summoned by the weirdest people on the planet. Because, well… she just needed to clarify the wish one more time because it sounded so stupid. “You are wishing for the steam DLC for Cyberpunk, a new paintbrush and a piece of paper to draw on?”

“Not just a piece of paper.” The guy sighed, clearly annoyed by the situation as well. Although Jalira didn’t quite get why the guy showed so little excitement for the opportunity of a lifetime of getting three wishes of his choice granted. Regardless, he clarified again. “I am an artist, but I have had nothing but bad luck recently. My old paintbrush just isn’t what it used to be anymore and I just can’t draw like I used to lately. The only thing I really, wholeheartedly wish for is to finally bring my vision to the canvas again and make my fantasies a reality. That's all.”

Good job, Jalira. You manage to make him go from a useless wish to a terrifying wish. And the worst part was, that he wasn’t in the mood to discuss the matter further. There was nothing she could do, besides saying. “Granted…” and snapping her finger.

Out of thin air, through the power of her magic, a piece of paper perfect as a canvas appeared on his desk, matching the exact size and requirements he wanted it to fulfill. Jalira saw that he planned to complain again, but his words got stuck in his mouth as the genie performed her magic trick. Now it was just on to hoping that the guy wouldn’t draw anything too weird on this reality altering piece of paper…

“That was weird. If I knew she was a real genie then I would have wished for something smarter.” Luthor sighed as he sat by his drawing table and readied himself to give painting another shot. With the magically enchanted canvas this surely must be a lot easier, even with his current slump… right?

“...This is amazing…” Luthor let out, barely 10 minutes into the drawing. He wanted to start with something simple, like a sketch of his city he could see when he looked out the window. And it was like he was in a dream. Every movement he made with his paintbrush seemed to draw more than he expected, yet every line was accurate to a point where he couldn’t even believe that it was him who just drew this sketch of the city in front of him.

Though that gave him an idea…

“If I can really draw whatever I am imagining perfectly, then…” He let out, readying his brush once again. He pulled it gently over the canvas once again, this time imagining something completely different, and to his own surprise the paint moved perfectly in a way to capture his imagination.

Unbeknownst to him, the streets in his immediate surrounding grew darker with every stroke on his brush, with the houses even changing shape to some degree. All of them started to look more modern, even futuristic to some degree, starting to glow through the dark with neon colors and signs through the streets.

“This is amazing! With this it’s so easy to draw something realistic in that new cyberpunk style. Makes me want to try something else as well…” Luthor grinned and took a sip from his water bottle that stood next to him, before shifting his attention back to the painting in front of him. “Let’s see how well I can draw people with help from this~”

It was as if Luthor was literally painting over almost every single person in the vicinity at the same time, including even himself, yet everyone ended up slightly different from each other. Luthor, for example, started by losing a bit of height as his skin became smooth and soft, devoid of all imperfections and unnecessary hair.

Despite how dainty he now appeared at first glance, as he continued to draw, the muscles in his legs, core and especially his arms started to harden, almost like some of his muscle fibers had literally been replaced with metal to make him stronger than any human could ever hope to be. Though even if it felt a bit weird in that moment, when it distracted him and he thought about it briefly, he really couldn’t remember a time where he didn’t have a premium bio enhancement that boosted his strength.

Luthor could tell that something was going on, but he really couldn’t point to what exactly was happening, so he decided to ignore it and just continue painting. He knew exactly what he wanted to add to these streets. “hmm~ I imagined a gang of powerful and evil cybergirls and even started to draw them without realizing, and now I can’t get them out of my head. Guess I'll be adding an all girl gang to this~”

With the next stroke of his brush, Luthor let out a surprisingly feminine yelp and almost jumped off his chair when he felt a small pinch in his most private parts. Though when he went to touch his private parts, there was nothing there out of the ordinary. Just the same womanhood he had since… well… since he could remember. Which, now that he thought about it a bit more, he should probably stop pretending to be a boy and just refer to himself as a “she”.

“You know what would be cool? I hangout on a roof overlooking the city where all the gang members meet. I can't wait to draw that~” Lexy chimed, her brush flying over the reality warping canvas again.

This time, with every stroke she made on the paper, the higher her own room seems to be elevated. The house she was in grew with them, propelling her room further and further up the floors, until the roof disappeared over her head and nothing but the starless night sky was visible.

She stood up to take a breather in the fresh air, only then noticing that her blonde hair cascaded down her shoulders and almost reached to her middle back by now, though even that was something she registered as normal.

The only thing she did see as somewhat strange was the fact that she was so into drawing all of a sudden. It was obvious that as the leader of an infamous gang, she usually had quite a lot to do, so she couldn’t quite spend enough free time to practice drawing all that much. Yet, she still felt somewhat obligated to finish what she had started, before the others came back.

“Let’s just finish this quickly. What would look cool in a drawing about a gang leader gal? A katana and some gatchets? Sure, why not?” And with those words, Lexy went back to moving her brush over the canvas, knowing that it would probably be the final time before she was needed elsewhere.

There was a bit of a metal grinding noise next to her as she painted, which she quickly realized was only her sword “Skyblazer” that had just manifested itself next to her, almost as if it wanted to watch her draw as well. Memories of their time together came to her as she remembered all the times she dominated those peons of justice in seemingly unwinnable 1v10 fights, which was always something she looked back fondly upon.

It just made her heart feel fuzzy everytime she was reminded that she was, in fact, the greatest fighter this city had ever seen. Though that fuzziness also made her feel like her chest had suddenly become a bit heavier, which she had no explanation for. So she shrugged her shoulders, grabbed one of her signature lollipops and continued to draw, only that her ideas were slowly coming to an end. And as she thought more about it…

“Lexy! Major problem!” A girl shouted from the other end of the room, making the gang leader slowly turn around to face her. For some reasons, Lexys memories were a bit hazy of the person in front of her, but she knew that her name was Martha and that she was usually one of the best informants of the gang, so Lexy knew she had to listen to what Martha said. “Our girls got ambushed in Sector V-3 by those Justiz peons. We have just received a call for help. Will you step in or should I send someone else?”

Lexy just smiled as she heard that and drew “Skyblazer” from the ground with a satisfying clirr, turned to Marther and said. “I’m feeling a bit bloodthirsty tonight. No need to call further backup. These guys are mine~”

“Why did I know you would say that?” Martha laughed, making it very clear that she knew Lexy very well. And so the two girls vanished into the building, getting ready for some high octane action that night.

Yet, the magical canvas they left behind, was now on the roof in the open air, so it was only a matter of time before a strong gust might pick it up and transported it to the next wannabe artist, who felt like changing reality.

But that is a story for another time…

Ah~ The next master to fulfill their every wish~ I, Jalira the genie for hire, will be of your utmost assistance… Wait. All you want is a new drawing board? One that can fulfill your dreams?!? Oh no…
