I didn’t get Soul Reaver done tonight after all, but I won’t miss the deadline for next week! We’ll have the finale then! In the meanwhile, I thought I’d post something I drew because there’s a story behind this image. You see, that big orc woman was originally going to be a big orc sumo wrestler, but then I realized I set the hips a little too wide. I figured, well, they’re just wide enough for a woman, though. Of course, there’s not a women’s sumo division as far as I’m aware, so eventually… I haven’t figured out their names but this is a married couple. The little guy is a goblin and the lady is an orc. She owns the tank, which is too small because I drew it too small and it needs work on perspective with the wheels - but the tank is called “The Chieftress”. It’s their baby and they can hitch a trailer to the back of it, although I forgot to include the towing stub. Like all evil creatures spawned by whatever inconsistent, stupid entity is responsible for orcs in this setting, this couple has an abusive relationship of constructive hatred. The wife does all the heavy lifting keeps bullies off her husband’s back, and her husband manages mechanical and medical worries. Somebody’s got to build the explosives and his tiny little child hands are perfect for it! Because a friend asked - the sex is terrible. It’s loveless and uneasy because they don’t trust each other, but they only lack that trust because they know one another so well. It is a match made in hell, and they will kill other living creatures to stay together so they know the other never catches a break. I have a mind to start drawing comics once I feel like I have enough skill. if I drew a story about this couple, it would be about their long, bloody battle with a debt collector. Oh, and there’d be tanks. Like, I’d do research on tank warfare, then make an effort to abuse the tank as though an angry redneck family owned a tank and used it for everything. I’ll go back to posting these on Patreon exclusively again! However, if I do start making a comic, what I’m likely to do is start shoring up comics so I’ll have a couple weeks worth of updates before I launch the thing. That way it’ll make a nice consistent read and I’ll have a handy buffer so it’ll be hard to fall behind! Not saying I’d do tank orcs necessarily! I’m just drawing random things and then inventing stories for it to see if something amuses me enough to keep doing it!
