The Krampus Jr decides to mash together the spirit of "tag" and "Candy Land" into a real life, cross-country chase. Unfortunately, Paul isn't much of a traveler and he's completely caught up in an argument with the Krampus.

This whole segment is one of those things that sort of falls in with the broader themes of the story. In a typical roleplaying game, it'd be pretty hard to plan to incorporate a message quite like this because you can't know how the players will behave. They might, for example, fly completely in the face of it and dunk the Karmpus Jr in molasses, just because it's funny.

The whole conflict between the worldviews of the Krampus and his son is a really good angle to put protagonists/players between.

I agree it'd be pretty hard to roleplay something like that in an actual game, because the things you do are way harder to do than even then things uptofourplayers are doing. But while they give me the nagging feeling of "if I was good enough to remember all those intricacies I could manage to do this", in your case I'm just like "this is fun and wacky entertainment". This setting is so little about stats and dice rolls it's more like an audio book really, and I like it!
