It's here! The extra work days spend making background music for it... resulted in some music for it!

This is the tale of the Flavor Zone, a massive inter-dimensional prison housing the most skilled and terrifying chefs anywhere. Their crimes are great and small, but each one is a culinary sensation.

Yeah I really like this introduction and build up! I think the joke you mentioned in your Thing Where You Talk About Things is working pretty well with the way Paul monologues. I think it says a lot about the character he's playing and the setting, since he takes all these other prisoners backstories super seriously and seemingly tries to give them each a mythic feeling with flowery language. It's easy for me at least to get caught up in the plights of the NPC's mentioned. That and the different hypothesis' to Guy Inferno's motives mentioned string a nice mystery around him as what is likely the main antagonist. Overall while I imagine starting a story like this with monologues to be difficult without becoming homework, the lnaguage of the characters made it flow at a good pace and feel to me pretty engaging. That and the absurdity of the whole deal being taken seriously is a good joke, I always preferred media like that over going full "Aren't We WACKY?!".

I also felt like I should mention that I appreciate Laury and Elvis' comments as well, the former seemingly having more 'practical' observations about the NPC's mentioned which felt like traditional Prisoner gossip. Elvis as Grandma Elva had a lot of good jokes too, especially the way Elva reacts to the stories from the perspective of another mad chef with some sort of granola supremacy mindset.
