This episode is in the real of the theoretical, "didn't happen" space of the game it was based on! When we played, we really did fail so many rolls on starting the lifeboat engine that there was nothing to do but crash it into the water. I offered to keep going, but being it was just me and one other guy, he felt it was appropriate and the will of the universe to die there on the spot. This is what I would have done if he'd decided he wanted to play on.
