Granted, we have to hug in secret because my kid is a crazy mood buster who will crawl in between our legs and tackle us, but while it's good to have a family that improves your life, there's no such thing as perfection. We've also had some Cold War-esque arguments about family visits on the holidays - I'm really wary of respiratory stuff given the asthma and all. But at any rate, I've heard the saying that your wife becomes your best friend, and in a good circumstance I think it's true.
