So from the latest robot drawings, it turns out I can do colors. This is a recent development that's as shocking to me as it is to anyone, and I've been thinking about what I've learned while drawing those things what I can do to improve the comics.

For one, good painting can hide structural errors, so to be any good I still need to work to improve the proportions and anatomy of my characters. If panel four is any indicator, I probably need to think a lot harder about perspective too. But I can improve the comic by committing to the use of blacks for deep shadow, because it enhances the use of black outlines in general and makes the style bolder and more cartoony instead of occupying an awkward middle ground.

Side note, if you look a little closer at the fifth panel, that's a window behind Stebe and I managed to forget about it, thinking it was part of the wood paneling. So backgrounds. Backgrounds also need continued improvement.
