If you can believe it, I planned this "book" of Stebe out - yes, it's true! And originally I had wanted to the golem to represent more of a trial for Stebe and Linda to overcome together, such that it would bridge their trust. But then I decided I also wanted to end the book within 24 pages, and the golem got shortened down to this goofy scenario, and Stebe forgives Lina because he's weird.

Might it have been better if the golem situation were dragged out? I don't know, it was just a draft idea. But speaking of drafts, this page had a little error when I first posted it. Somehow the line layer in the top right panel had been turned into a sketch layer, so when I exported the file, there were no lines. It was a little baffling at first and I almost didn't see the mistake, because on my work screen everything looked fine!
