I feel like this street sweeper guy might be one of the purest expressions of what I imagine the Banana Republic to be like. Sure, there's witch doctors on TV telling you the weather and prediction politics, but that's TV. A man in flesh and blood wearing a bowler hat with a brush on it, wielding a broom with a sword on the end - that's the stuff that makes the Republic what it is!
