So aside from trying to get better at faces, it's also been important to learn how to get better at the human body. Randy here was originally going to have a more monstrous shape, but I realized I was struggling to idealize his anatomy, and instead I exaggerated his muscles. Thus he's become more an exercise in nude gesture drawing while I do my best to figure out exactly how all the muscles connect.

The better I get at drawing Randy, the easier it is to draw everyone else since they're made of the same, albeit flabbier, shapes.
