Jane the Virgin is a fun show, and I've developed an investment in the characters, but because it has to always make drama for the main character while having her win in the end, I found that I gradually learned to hate Jane. After a certain point where there are clear patterns of Jane making life worse for the people she meets, it would make sense that other humans might be a bit avoidant of her.
